This piece grew out of the same inner terrain that shaped my solo show on resilience. The polar bear became a stand‑in for the parts of myself that have had to stay steady in harsh conditions, even when the light felt uncertain. Placing the bear in front of an eclipse felt deeply personal—an image of standing in the path of something overwhelming yet still holding my ground. The eclipse isn’t just a celestial event here; it’s a moment of transition, a reminder that darkness can pass and reveal a new kind of light. This painting reflects my own journey of learning to trust myself in the in‑between spaces, where strength is quiet, instinctive, and earned.
